Union of Credit Organization of the Republic of Armenia

The Union of Credit Organization of the Republic of Armenia is a voluntary union of credit organizations (trade organizations) operating in the Republic of Armenia.

Our mission is to foster the development of financial system of RA through more efficient and overall use of the potential of credit organizations.

We implement our mission and aims in such ways
•    We make an initiative for improvement of the legal framework
•    We organize joint discussions about problems which interest each member of Union
•    We organize and conduct trainings based on the  current needs  of every member of  UCORA
•    We provide the participation of every member in conference, seminars, and forums.

UCORA’s Goals

The main goal of the Union is to represent general goals and interests of its members in the Central Bank of RA, Government of RA and with state and non  state other bodies.

The goals of the Union are:

•  Identify, analyze and summarize problems, risks, and challenges related to interests of its members and initiate appropriate activities directed to finding solutions for the problems identified,


•  Protect and represent interests of the Union members to the state entitles and local territorial government bodies and with non governmental and international organizations,

•  Protect and represent interests of the Union members in the Central Bank of RA, organize round table discussions and present suggestions,

•  Assist in the development and strengthening of interrelations between members within the Union , coordinate the activities of the members of the Union for the development and implementation of long term projects,

•  Participate in the development, discussion and appraisal of drafts of legislative and normative acts of RA regulating the financial banking activities,

•  Assist the Union members in the investment of advanced financial banking technologies and methods so as to improve the quality of service and increase the effectiveness of operations,

•  Develop and implement projects related to staff capacity building and training programs as well as relevance of the credentials to the professional requirements and performance evaluations,

•  Organize an conduct seminars and conferences,

•  Realize other goals in the framework of the Union members’ interests that do not contradict with RA legislation through mutual assistance.
